Full Description
The purpose of this Standard is to:
To define a repeatable method of testing the steady state air diffusion performance of a system of air supply outlets in spaces such as offices.
To provide a means of determining the ability of an air distribution system to produce an acceptable thermal environment, based on air motion or air velocity and air temperature distribution at specified zone heating or cooling loads.
To provide both building designers and owners with a tool to quantify the air diffusion performance in a building.
