About This Item
Full Description
The pandemic and environmental crisis has highlighted the need for routine use of airflow modeling for health/safety in occupied spaces and energy conservation in data centers. Browser and cloud-based tools offer convenience, performance improvements, and reduced cost through scale. This session shows current applications of browser and cloud-based airflow modeling in the form of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and multizone indoor air quality (IAQ) modeling for aerosol tracking and exposure as well as CFD for the design and management of data centers.
1. Modeling Indoor Airflow and Aerosol Transport By WebGPU
Liangzhu (Leon) Wang, Concordia University
2. Practical Data Center Operational Planning Using Browser and Cloud-Based Capabilities
Mark Seymour, P.E., Cadence Design Systems Inc., London, United Kingdom
3. Data Center CFD Simulation in Your Web Browser
James VanGilder, PE, Schneider Electric, Andover, MA
