ASHRAE 62.1 Calculators are a suite of tools for calculating ventilation rates for single-zone and multiple-zone systems.

Ventilation Rate Procedure (VRP)
Two spreadsheets are provided for calculating ventilation rates under the VRP. One is based on the multiple-spaces equation in Appendix A (2010, 2016, 2019, and 2022 editions) and the other is based on the 62.1 Simplified Procedure (2022 edition only). Both are designed for use with multiple-zone recirculating systems, and the VRP Simplified Procedure calculator can also easily be applied to single-zone and 100% outdoor air systems.

Indoor Air Quality Procedure (IAQP)
This spreadsheet is designed to calculate ventilation rates for both single-zone and multiple-zone systems as specified under the Indoor Air Quality Procedure of ASHRAE Standard 62.1-2022. It includes data for 14 design compounds and PM2.5, incorporates built-in emission rates for 12 different space types, and facilitates the calculation of System Ventilation Efficiency (Ev). The calculator also features a summary compliance sheet to simplify verification processes.

An accompanying User's Manual steps the reader through the contents of each worksheet and provides formulas and terms for calculations.
