1. Scope

1.1 This specification details the requirements for hot stamped foil finishes on plastic components used for interior and exterior applications on automobiles. This form of finish should only be used on surfaces not subjected to excessive wear and where the anticipated service temperature for the part does not normally exceed +85°C. 1. Zweck 1.1 Diese Vorschrift umfaBt die Anforderungen an Kunststoffteile mit heiBgepragter Folie, die in der Innen- und Ausenausstattung der Fahrzeugkarosaerie verwendet werden. HeiBgepragte Folien werden ausschlielblich auf Oberflgchen angewendet, die keinem ubermaBigen VerschleiB auagesetzt sind und wo Betriebatemperaturen unter +85¿C zu erwarten, siad.
