The objectives of this powerpoint presentation were to
familiarize utility personnel, regulators, and other water industry
professionals with the contents of the following guidance documents: Guidelines for the Physical Security of Wastewater/Stormwater Utilities; and, Guidelines for the Physical Security of Water Utilities. Background information on WISE documents is presented, along with a step-wise approach
to using the documents that includes:
Step 1 - Complete Vulnerability
Assessment;
Step 2 - Characterize DBT;
Step 3 - Identify Appropriate Security
Measures (the primary focus of Phase 3
documents); and,
Step 4 - Consider Consequence Mitigation. Includes tables.
