a. This pamphlet provides coding information relating to commissioned and warrant officer personnel ordered to active duty (OAD), active duty for training (ADT), or appointed in the Regular Army (RA) from other Army components.

b. A code entitled procurement program number (PPN) has been devised to describe the procurement program from which an officer is commissioned or appointed.
