This Standard has been reproduced from IEC 60598-1 Ed.4.1:1996 Luminaires, Part 1 General requirements and tests incorporating IEC amendment-1, interpretation sheets and corrigendum. AS/NZS deviations from IEC are also covered in this Standard. This Standard also applies to luminaires for use with electric light sources on supply voltages not exceeding 1000V.
