AISI No. 651 is an austenitic iron-base superalloy with a relatively high ratio of strength to alloying element content. It is capable of withstanding high static and dynamic stresses through at least 1200 F. It is used for various high-temperature applications such as components for jet engines, gas turbines, turbochargers and missiles.
