1. Scope
1.1 This Standard specifies requirements for the performance testing of solid-fuel-burning appliances having an air-fuel ratio averaging less than 35:1 as determined by Clause 14. It prescribes a method for determining heat outputs, appliance efficiencies, emission levels and composition, and flue gas flow rates for solid-fuel-fired appliances. The Standard also specifies maximum emission rates.
