ESDU 71018 provides a simple method of estimating the wave drag due to rectangular planform fairings at zero incidence in supersonic flow. The data, which were derived using linearised supersonic flow theory, apply to fairings with constant streamwise section of "two- or three-slope" or parabolic profile.
