This standard applies to evaluation of all audio and speaker systems, both currently in use and to be used in the future, in the vehicle.

PURPOSE

This standard aims at specifying the method of evaluating sound quality of the audio system and speaker system in the GMDAT vehicles, thus enhancing the quality level to more than meet various consumer requirements.
