This specification covers the basic requirements for a water based fluorocarbon modified epoxy coating to be used on fasteners to prevent the adhesion of electrodeposited coatings.

Use of this finish on threaded surfaces could affect the torque-tension relationship of a joint. It is recommended that a torque-tension study of the fastener joint be performed before releasing this finish on a new application
