1 SCOPE.

This specification covers the material and performance requirements of spray applied phosphate coatings that are either air dried or oven dried for use under a nonelectrodeposition (ELPO) primer. This coating is intended to provide a crystalline, corrosion resistant, paint adhesion promoting surface on bare steel, zinc coated steel and aluminum.
