1 SCOPE.

This specification covers the requirements for an alkali cleaner (Powder or liquid) that will be used in the cleaning stages of spray, immersion and small parts (9984032, 9984090, and 9984123, respectively) phosphate systems. These materials may be applied either low or high pressure on a fully or partially assembled vehicle body in white or part to remove contaminants.
