1 Scope This specification covers the qualification and performance requirements of solventborne basecoats that may be applied to either flexible or rigid substrates. 1.1 Material Identification. These basecoats are solventborne technologies and are compo-nents of rigid topcoat systems specified under 9984065, 9984157, and 9984198. They are components of flexible topcoat systems speci-fied under 9984836 and 9984852.
