This specification describes functional requirements for a sheet form cross linked polyethylene material with a linear low density polyethylene film used inside the vehicle door as a barrier to water and noise intrusion. The material must function in continuous operating temperatures from -29 to 121 degrees C with expected intermittent exposure to automotive industry paint repair cycles.
