This document was created to aid the GM design community in designing more recyclable vehicles, that have maximum end of life value. The tools included will help the design engineer analyze parts and assemblies for recyclability. This is accomplished through the use of a Recyclability Checklist, general design for recyclability guidelines, specific material guidelines, and a method to calculate percent recyclable.
