This specification covers the properties of a high heat, natural or integrally colored, paintable, impact modified polyphenylene ether, pellet form injection molding compound.

Paintability.  Approved paint systems that can be used on this material are listed in the GM APOPS (Approved paint on plastic System) Criteria for approval of unique plastic/paint systems are also provided.

Applications. Typical applications include the following: exterior rear view mirrors, wheel hub covers (both require painting).
