This specification covers the properties of a 65 Shore A, injection molding grade, low gloss, dry feel, UV light resistant, flexible polyvinyl chloride compound.

PAINTABILITY. Approved paint systems that can be used on this material are listed in the GM Approved Paint On Plastics Systems (GM APOPS) data base.

APPLICATIONS. Typical applications include the following: Grab handles, center console lids, door armrests.

Some plasticizers used in PVC compounds are known to be incompatible with mating surfaces. This should be considered in making material selections.
