This Defence Standard specifies the requirements for a fluorescent paint scheme resistant to fuel, chemicals and aircraft operating fluids. The system is suitable for application to the exterior of aircraft, missiles and land based vehicles to provide a highly visible finish. The complete system consists of a coat of white filler, fluorescent finish and clear protective varnish.
