The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change 2021 reports show that anthropogenic effects on climate change are a primary cause of observed warming. As a result, understanding climate science fundamentals is becoming increasingly important. This is the 2nd part of a series of seminars to provide training to engineers in this area. The talks extend the first seminar topics by continuing from 19th century history to modern history, discussing how complexity in the physics of feedback mechanisms in earth’s climate system make uncertainty inevitable, and finish with the latest understanding of the impacts and actions needed due to the climate crisis.
