This powerpoint presentation Comprehensive Everglades Restoration Project (CERP) Authorized in 2000. CERP System Wide Goals and Objectives included: Reduce Damaging High Okeechobee Level; Reduce Back Pumping into Okeechobee; Water Storage; Flow Equalization to Storm Treatment Area; Agricultural Water Supply; and, Flood Protection. Part of CERP is the Everglades Agricultural Area (EAA) Reservoir Storage Project, specifically the EAA Reservoir A-1 that includes: 190,000 Acre Ft of Storage at Full Pool; 21 miles of Embankment - 29 Ft High; 12.5 Feet of Storage at Full Pool; and, new S-610 Pump Station.
