This part of ISO/IEC 13522 specifies the procedure to be followed by a Registration Authority in preparing, maintaining and publishing a register of names (identifiers) allocated to MHEG Registered Objects. The registered object identifiers to which this part of ISO/IEC 13522 refers are those used in ISO/IEC 13522-1. An MHEG Registered Object is a data type or other MHEG entity that can be referenced by an MHEG system through the unique identifier assigned to it by the Registration Authority.
